Re-visited I
Textiles and Artistic Practice

Conversation with Judith Raum

In the series Re-visited, experts from different disciplines share their particular perspective on the exhibition – an exhibition tour based on discussion.

Judith Raum is an artist and writer living in Berlin. Her multi media installations and lecture performances often incorporate archival research on social and economic histories, and more recently focuse on the history of the textile industry. For example, her recent works consider the aesthetics and materials used by the artists of the Bauhaus textile workshop as well as examine the fabrics in terms of both gender politics at the Bauhaus and the political unrest before the National Socialists took power.

Public events are in German and included in the admission fee.
