Cancelled - Who taught your body how to understand art?

Performative intervention (DE/EN/ES)

With (Nanda Gamarra Cultural mediator and curator) und Lina Tegtmeyer (Cultural scholar and artist)

In a performative intervention, the intergenerational theatre group from the mit.mach.bühne of the Ballhaus Prinzenallee deconstructs the invisible choreography of the museum.

What do we learn about nature and art when we listen to our bodies? How are nature and the body represented and perceived? And what counts as nature – outdoors and indoors?  In the museum and its surroundings, the theatre group explores different rules, movements and physical postures. What happens to art when our bodies no longer do what is expected of them?

This event was conceived by two artists as part of the professional development programme Art Education and Application Training.
