With Dalila Daut (art mediator)

This tour invites participants to explore the Brücke-Museum through its exhibition spaces, garden and surrounding landscape, exploring how the museum collection, Werner Düttmann’s architecture and contemporary artworks relate to one another and can be experienced from different perspectives. The essence of the tour lies in exchanging and sharing experiences. 

The 90-minute tour takes you round the exhibitions Nature… In the Museum and Art… Beneath Pine Trees in the Brücke-Museum’s garden. Please wear suitable clothing for the weather. One section of the tour follows the woodland path around the museum; the path is uneven in places, which means that it is not fully accessible.

This tour was conceived by Dalila Daut.

Dalila Daut (born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) is an art educator and researcher with an interdisciplinary background in art studies, art history and museology. Her focus is on postcolonial narratives. She combines theoretical knowledge and research with practical, participatory methods to rethink institutional spaces for the negotiation of identity, memory and belonging. Dalila is committed to creating spaces for a collective culture of remembrance that actively shapes, challenges and reflects on social change.

Part of the tour follows the woodland path around the museum. The paths lead through the woods and are uneven in places. This area is not accessible to people with disabilities. We are committed to respectful interaction. Discriminatory behavior has no place at our events.

Participation in public events is included with museum admission. No advance registration is required.
