With Elisabeth Schotte (jewellery designer)
Taking inspiration from the metalwork of Brücke artist Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, the focus of this workshop is on the transition from two-dimensional surfaces to three-dimensional forms. Starting with flat sheets of wax, participants in this workshop will develop three-dimensional jewellery forms. Volume is created through folding, bending and joining, moving from surface to space.
The workshop introduces experimental approaches to jewellery design and model preparation for casting. No prior knowledge is necessary, only an openness to the process.
Elisabeth Schotte lives and works in Berlin and is a jewellery designer. In her designs, she playfully and openly explores modern and traditional techniques, weaving new ideas into the age-old theme of jewellery.
We are committed to respectful interaction. Discriminatory behavior has no place at our events.
