Perfect Match with Sonja Eismann

One hundred twenty  Berliners have each selected a work of art from the Brücke-Museum’s collection. In a Perfect Match, some of the co-curators talk to museum staff about their connection to the Brücke. Assistant curator Valentina Bay invites journalist Sonja Eismann into a conversation to share her impressions.

Sonja Eismann, *1973, is a freelance journalist and cultural scientist in Berlin and Vienna. She was co-founder of the magazine nylon. KunstStoff magazine on feminism and pop culture, and worked as an editor at the Cologne-based magazine Intro from 2002 to 2007. She is currently researching grrrl zines and craftivism and often goes on tour with her book Hot Topic. Popfeminismus heute, published in October 2007. More generally, she likes discourse, cross-country skiing and small animals with soft fur.


Participation in public events is included with the museum admission. No advance registration is required.
