After and during her studies in art history, cultural anthropology and Jewish studies, Marian Stein-Steinfeld worked for ten years in the Frankfurter Kunstkabinett Hanna Bekker vom Rath. In 2018, she published the biography Hanna Bekker vom Rath. Handelnde für Kunst und Künstler. She is the founder and director of the Hanna Bekker vom Rath Archive. In 2021/22 she set up the website https://hanna-bekker-vom-rath.org.
