Museum Sunday

We invite you to Museum Sunday at the Brücke-Museum. Our programme offers opportunities for children and adults to engage with the museum and the exhibition.

Mix & Overlay
Painting workshop for children, families and everyone who likes to create!

Colours mix, overlap or come into conversation with each other. Together we will try out techniques of abstract painting in the new Waldraum (forest room). With a thick brush and two intense colours, you will paint unusual shapes on canvas. What could these colour combinations mean? What do the simplified shapes stand for? Together with your adult companions, you try out different painting techniques and exchange ideas about your paintings!

Drinks and snacks from the Kunsthaus Dahlem Café will be available in the museum garden.

Starting 4 July 2021, Berlin’s museums welcome you on the first Sunday of every month. Museum Sunday is made possible by the State of Berlin, the State Association of Museums in Berlin and the Federal Commissioner for Culture and Media. The entry is free! The current distance and hygiene regulations apply, as well as a general mask obligation. For participation at the programme the 3G rule applies! For all programme on Museum Sunday, simply register on site at the information desk. It is not necessary to book a time slot ticket. There may be some short waiting times.
