In the garden we are showing on a big screen the film Vivian’s Garden (2017) by the artist Rosalind Nashashibi. Here you can find a teaser.

There will also be short introductions in German to the exhibition in the garden on both days:
Saturday, 12 September 2020
1 pm Lisa Marei Schmidt, director and curator of the exhibition
3 pm Daniela Bystron, curator of Outreach
5 pm Irene Bretscher, assistant curator
Sunday, 13 September 2020
1 pm Daniela Bystron, curator of Outreach
3 pm Lisa Marei Schmidt, director and curator of the exhibition
5 pm Irene Bretscher, assistant curator

From 12 noon–5 pm the workshop Engaging with Nature for kids and families with Thomas & Renée Rapedius, artist and art mediator, takes place. Here you can try out working with natural materials.

The café at Kunsthaus Dahlem is kindly providing snacks and drinks.

The Argentinian-Swiss painter Vivian Suter’s invitation to the Brücke-Museum marks the first time that the collection will enter into a direct dialogue with a contemporary artist. The expansive installation presents Suter’s freely suspended canvases together with around 40 paintings and craft objects by the Brücke artists. This juxtaposition opens up new perspectives on Suter’s works as well as on the museum’s collection.

The Brücke-Museum is partner of Berlin Art Week.
