 Apart in the Brücke-Museum. You will gain unique insights into his longsta
 nding research and practice as a frame expert.\n\nThe art historian Eva Me
 ndgen will give a lecture on frame pictures starting at 5 pm. In her resea
 rch\, Eva Mendgen is dedicated to frames from the 19th century to expressi
 onist modernism.\n\nAfterwards\, the two experts will discuss current rese
 arch questions on the subject of frames with each other and with you. We l
 ook forward to your participation!\n\n \n\nShort biographies\n\nEva Mendge
 n (Dr. phil.)\nArt historian\, publicist\, curator\n\nFundamental research
  from the perspective of an interdisciplinary\, artistic-scientific method
 ological approach that combines theory and practice\, starting from the fr
 ame picture. Since her doctorate entitled Künstler rahmen ihre Bilder in B
 onn 1991\, she has produced numerous reference works on the subject of the
  artist's frame (including In Perfect Harmony. Bild + Rahmen 1850 – 1920).
  From these\, the continuing interest in border areas and their value as c
 ultural landscapes is evident to this day.\n\nWerner Murrer\nFrame expert
 \n\nWerner Murrer\, curator of the exhibition and frame maker\, is regarde
 d as a proven expert on the frames of Expressionism. His extensive experti
 se comes from over thirty years of work on the subject\, countless museum 
 visits and extensive research.
