DESCRIPTION:Dialogical exhibition tour with Andreas Hüneke\nArt historian\,
Potsdam\n\nAndreas Hüneke is art historian and provenance researcher. Sin
ce 2003\, he has held a teaching position at the “Degenerate Art” research
center of Freie Universität Berlin. Since the 1970s\, his focus has been
on the works confiscated during the Nazi regime. Born and raised in the GD
R as the son of a priest\, his fascination with Expressionism and abstract
ion repeatedly touched upon limitations. He arrived at the Staatliche Gale
rie Moritzburg in Halle (1970-1977) via a detour of working as a theatre p
ainter and studying theology. Since then he has worked as as a freelancer
and has lived in Potsdam since 1982.\n\nIn the series Re-visited\, experts
from different disciplines share their particular perspective on the exhi
bition – an exhibition tour based on discussion.
