for an art education project and want to learn how to develop a concept a
nd apply for funding\, but you don’t know where to start? This two-day tra
ining course provides theoretical and practical knowledge on applying for
funding\, financial planning\, and the legal frameworks relevant to your p
roject.\nNext\, you will work in pairs to develop an educational concept f
or a workshop as a practical exercise. This should be based on the Brücke-
Museum’s educational approach and designed with the upcoming exhibition in
mind. All concepts will be discussed together during the second session.
One concept will then be chosen to be implemented at the Brücke Museum\, f
or which a budget will be provided. The group will collectively decide whi
ch concept to realise.\nThe course is conducted in German. High-level lang
uage proficiency is not required. However\, you must understand German. If
necessary\, you are welcome to speak English. The main thing is that you
understand the content.\n\nPeira (Berlin/Leipzig/Vienna) develops collabor
ative art projects. The instructors\, Chris Herzog and Alma Wellner Bou\,
are active members of the artist collective Peira\, which focuses on inter
disciplinary art projects. Their work addresses socio-political issues\, c
ultural participation\, and collaborative processes. They are particularly
committed to the visibility and promotion of marginalised perspectives in
the arts and culture sector. In addition to their artistic practice\, the
y regularly give workshops and seminars (production\, dramaturgy and deali
ng with the bureaucracy surrounding independent project work\, community m
 usic - low-threshold music production\, cultural education\, socially enga
ged art and much more).\n\nWhere does the workshop take place?\nThe worksh
op will take place on site in the Waldraum (forest room) of the Brücke-Mus
eum. Unfortunately\, online or hybrid participation is not possible.\n\nWh
o is the workshop for?\nThe workshop is primarily aimed at artists or crea
tive professionals with a migrant background. Priority will be given to in
dividuals who face particular challenges in their work in the cultural sec
tor due to their nationality\, language skills\, or cultural background. I
f there are still places available\, freelancers without a migrant backgro
und may also participate.\n\nRegistration\nIf you are interested in attend
ing\, we kindly ask you to register due to the limited number of participa
nts. Please note that each person must register individually. To register\
, please send an email to info@bruecke-museum.de with the subject “Art Edu

erms and Conditions\nThe workshop seminar is free\, and a certificate of a
ttendance can be issued.\nOne tandem partnership will be selected to carry
out an educational format on 23 January. The museum compensates workshop
