DESCRIPTION:With Curando (initiative / Luz Dary Mabesoy Torres\, anthropolo
gist)\n\nHow can looking after houseplants be more than just a routine tas
k? How can it become an act of care\, reciprocity and meditation? In this
workshop\, you are invited to find peace and sharpen your intuition. Toget
her\, we’ll explore our emotional connection to the houseplants we care fo
 r. With our hands in the soil and as we make organic fertiliser for the pl
ants\, we’ll discover how caring for them can be a mindful and connected e
xperience. The workshop offers the chance to embrace patience and acceptan
ce\, and to draw inspiration from the wisdom of plants.\n\nNo prior knowle
dge is necessary. Please bring suitable work clothes. Although the worksho
p will be mainly in German\, we mention the languages spoken by the facili
tators to make it more accessible. If you don’t feel confident in German\,
don’t worry — you can still take part.\n\nWe at Curando: Remedios para la
vida (Remedies for Life) see ourselves as a ‘juntanza’ – a gathering in s
olidarity where women\, young people\, and communities collaborate\, creat
ing an environment where knowledge is shared and interwoven. Our aim is to
reconnect with ourselves and with the Earth\, and to protect and nurture
life in all its diversity. We are guided on our path by the rediscovery of
our ancestors’ knowledge – knowledge of medicinal plants\, everyday ritua
ls that nourish our spirituality\, and a deep\, respectful\, and reciproca
l relationship with Mother Earth.\n\nLuz Dary Mabesoy Torres is a decoloni
al feminist and social anthropologist. She preserves the spiritual heritag
e of her African and Indigenous ancestors\, incorporating this into indivi
dual and collective healing processes with the aim of shaping new\, consci
ous ways of living.\n\nWe are committed to respectful interaction. Discrim
inatory behavior has no place at our events.
