The museum is located in one of Berlin ’s oldest garden suburbs. Since the mid-19th century\, this type of reside ntial development has shaped the concept of ‘nature’ and served to establi sh bourgeois exclusivity. On our walk through Zehlendorf\, we will conside r how this constructed nature came into being\, whose nature it was\, and what forms of exclusion it continues to produce today.\n\nAnna Yeboah (she /her) is an architect and curator. In her exhibitions\, lectures and inter disciplinary projects\, she deals with power systems in built space\, memo ry culture and the decolonisation of architectural and cultural praxis. Fr om 2020 to 2024\, she coordinated the pilot project Dekoloniale Erinnerung skultur in der Stadt - Decolonial Culture of Remembrance in the City for t he Initiative of Black People in Germany e.V.\, which deals with the criti cal processing\, mediation and remembrance of colonialism originating in B erlin. As part of the Nicht Einfach (Not Easy) specialists team\, Anna Yeb oah conceived the content of this event together with the artist.\n\nPhili pp Krüpe (he/him) is a research assistant at the Institute for the Fundame ntals of Modern Architecture (IGmA) at the University of Stuttgart. He pub lishes work on topics related to architecture and media theory for publica tions such as ARCH+\, Baumeister\, the Goethe-Institut\, and various cultu ral institutions in Germany. Together with Stephan Trüby\, he is responsib le for the research project “Rechte Räume” (www.rechteraeume.net). His cur rent research focuses on the political media and affective history of mode rn architectural theory and production.\n\nWe are committed to respectful interaction.
