In doing so\, they learned alo ngside practitioners and created initial samples themselves in each respec tive craft. This tour highlights both perspectives: that of artisans thems elves and that of the museum. During the discussion\, the experts will exp lore the distinctive qualities of each material (metal\, wood\, or textile )\, as well as the possibilities and limitations of working with them. Thi s is especially fascinating when it comes to the artistic creations of the Brücke artists.\n\nEach event in this series sees a curator talk to someo ne practising the craft: featuring wood sculptor and restorer Valentin Jos é Kammel\, textile artist Lisa Reichmann\, and jewellery designer Elisabet h Schotte.\n\nValentin José Kammel is a carpenter\, woodturner and trained restorer. He specialises in reconstructions\, the marks and traces of too ls and historical manufacturing techniques.\n\nLisa Marei Schmidt is a cur ator and since 2017 has been director of the Brücke-Museum in Berlin.\n\nW e are committed to respectful interaction.
