Pegah Byroum-Wand\, who pro vided scholarly support for the project\, will moderate the discussion. At 4 p.m.\, there will be an opportunity to learn about Irma Stern's works d uring a public guided tour. \n\nThe exhibition Irma Stern. A Modern Artist between Cape Town and Berlin and its contexts are the starting point for the pluralistic project Nicht Einfach (Not Easy)\, in which we\, as a team of specialists\, reflect together on the culture of remembrance and socia l coexistence\, creating space for tolerating ambiguities. In our view\, c reating spaces where we can collectively reflect about antisemitism\, colo nialism and racism is part of living in solidarity in a pluralistic societ y. To understand Irma Stern today – who was a contemporary of the Brücke a rtists - we must discuss and link these historical and violent contexts to the present. In the exhibition\, we explore eight concepts from Stern’s b iography in depth through glossary entries\, reflection questions\, quotat ions\, images\, comments and videos. In the public programme\, we invite y ou to join us for training courses\, discussions\, art workshops and city tours\, which will begin in September.\n\nAhmad Dakhnous (he/him) is a pol itical scholar and political education consultant. He works on the topic o f Israel/Palestine\, its negotiation and representation in Germany.\n\nTah ir Della (he/him) is an activist for the Initiative Schwarze Menschen in D eutschland e.V. (ISD) representing the interests of Black people in German y. He works on projects related to German and European colonial history an d decolonisation.\n\nAnna Yeboah (she/her) is an architect and curator. Th rough her interdisciplinary projects\, she explores power systems in built spaces\, memory culture and the decolonisation of architectural and cultu ral practices.\n\nYehudit Yinhar (she/her) is an artist and activist. Her work combines artistic research\, archival work\, and political interventi ons.\n\nPegah Byroum-Wand (she/her) takes a scholarly and critical approac h to power in her work on museums\, activism and diversity-oriented organi sational development.
