DESCRIPTION:With Meeting Lines (artistic collective / Marcos García Pérez a
 nd Carla Schliephack)\n\nTextile becomes comic\, painting becomes meme\, a
nd your idea becomes a shared story. In this 4-day workshop\, we will crea
te a creative laboratory for mixed-media techniques between drawing\, text
ile art and digital tools. Spontaneous ideas will be transformed into coll
aborative works of art\, - from comics and collages to memes. Playful meth
ods such as 'silent post' and meditative practices will help us consciousl
y engage with creative processes and reflect on the responsibility of imag
e creation and publication.\n\nInspired by the collaboration between the w
eaver Lise Gujer and the Brücke painter Ernst Ludwig Kirchner\, we combine
traditional art techniques with digital visual language questioning how v
isual worlds are reproduced\, appropriated\, and transformed. How are imag
es and stories created? How do they connect? And how can they be reimagine
d?\n\nThe forest room in the garden of the Brücke-Museum invites you to cr
eate in a free\, relaxed and playful way. Please bring snacks for the brea
ks. We recommend weatherproof clothing that can get dirty.\n\nMarcos Garcí
a Pérez and Carla Schliephack make up the Berlin-based art duo Meeting Lin
es. Together\, they investigate critical collective processes at the inter
section of human/environment and self-education/art. To this end\, they de
velop site-specific drawing practices that involve copying\, improvising a
nd playing. The reuse of materials is central to their arts education work
as well as their artistic practice.\n\nMarcos García Pérez studied fine a
rts at the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia and graduated from the UdK
Berlin in 2020 in the Art in Context programme. Since then\, he has worked
as an independent artist and art educator.\n\nAfter earning a B.A. in fas
hion design\, Carla Schliephack was a master student in the Sculpture Depa
rtment at the weißensee academy of art berlin\, a programme she continues
to promote. Through further training as a systemic coach\, she now works a
s an art educator and freelance artist in Berlin.\n\nDue to the limited nu
mber of participants\, please register here in advance.\nPublic events and
activities are free with museum admission.\nMeeting place: Ticket counter
  in the lobby.
