What earlier generations of artists had cut to size\, polish ed\, or painted over was what most appealed to the Brücke artists: the gra in\, the cracks\, the fissures\, the unevenness\, even an irregular natura l shape. All the randomness of nature was now incorporated into the design . It became their artistic programme.\n\nTogether with visual artist Yili Rojas\, you can try out the woodblock technique for yourself and develop y our own ideas and messages. Yili Rojas was born in Bogotá (Colombia) and h as been working as an artist and educational consultant in political educa tion in Berlin since 2010. Her focus in political education is on (post-)c olonialism\, anti-discrimination\, anti-racism\, and the empowerment of mi grants and BIPoCs. As an artist\, she works with drawing\, printmaking\, p erformance\, installation\, and poetic texts.
