In 2014\, Gallery8 was awa rded the Katalizátor Prize as well as the Otto Pankok Prize by the Foundat ion for the Welfare of Rom*nja\, founded by German writer and Nobel Prize winner for Literature Günter Grass. Junghaus is currently pursuing a PhD i n cultural theory at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. Since 2010\, sh e has been a member of the research group on the vocabulary of decoloniali sm and the study of insurgent genealogies at the Institute of Art and Cult ural Studies of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
