In the work of Burg Hülshoff - Center f or Literature (CfL)\, we are repeatedly confronted with the most prominent female figure of the 19th-century German literary canon: Annette von Dros te-Hülshoff. A writer who was torn between norms and structures on one han d\, and the desire for liberation\, breakthrough\, and perpetual change on the other. A woman who\, during her lifetime\, only experienced a fractio n of what seemed possible. How can she find peace after her death\, which now dates back 175 years? Yvette Mutumba\, co-founder of Contemporary And (C& \;)\, and Daniela Bystron\, Curator of Outreach at the Brücke Museum\, del ve into the diverse themes of the Expressionism Revisited symposium in a c onversation\, contemplating the tasks that the title brings for museums\, research\, and education.\n\n \n\nDr. Jörg Albrecht is a novelist\, essayi st\, author for theatre and performance\, and curator. He has received num erous literary awards and scholarships. In 2007\, he co-founded the theatr e collective copy &\; waste with Steffen Klewar\, which was awarded the George Tabori Prize by the federal government in 2018 for its work. Since 2018\, Jörg Albrecht has been the founding director of Burg Hülshoff – Ce nter for Literature (CfL). The CfL is the program operation of the Annette von Droste zu Hülshoff Foundation and a unique venue for literature and i ts promotion in the German-speaking region.\n\nDr. Yvette Mutumba is a co- founder and artistic director/CEO of the platform Contemporary And (C&\ ;). She is also a curator at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and teaches at the Institute for Art in Context at the UdK Berlin. She was part of th e curatorial team for the 10th Berlin Biennale and a visiting professor fo r global discourses at the Kunsthochschule für Medien in Cologne. From 201 2 to 2016\, Yvette was a curator at the Weltkulturen Museum in Frankfurt a m Main. She received her PhD in Art History from Birkbeck University of Lo ndon.\n\nDaniela Bystron has been Curator for Outreach/Programme at the Br ücke-Museum Berlin since 2018. From 2006 to 2018\, she headed the Art Educ ation Department at the Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart\, Berlin\ , and at the Neue Nationalgalerie\, part of the National Museums in Berlin . In her curatorial and educational practice\, she is interested in questi oning museum routines and canonical concepts of knowledge\, exploring spat ial and social settings\, and employing collaborative working methods.
