As lecturers at the UdK Institute for Art in Context\, the y invite students to augment the Whose Expression? exhibition with tempora ry artistic interventions:\n\nDie Lücke. An intervention by Nina Berfelde \, Valerie Göhring\, Valerie Ludwig\, Marcel Heise and Max Altenburg 12–5 pm at the exhibition Whose Expression? at Brücke-museum (DE/EN). In a pop- up copy shop in the exhibition space\, the actors of the intervention The Gap produce zines from copied objects from the collection\, art catalogues \, trivial literature and academic texts. In a performative way\, publicat ions are created in which the instrumentalisation and thematisation of gap s is immanent\, in that their authors first ask: How do we act within an a rt collection\, between knowledge but also silence\, reappraisal and renew al?\n\nNina Berfelde is an interdisciplinary artist with a professional fo cus on cultural anthropology\, documentary film\, video installation and p hotography. Contextualisation and non-linearity of history and events are always in the foreground. www.ninaberfelde.de\n\nValerie Ludwig lives and works in Vienna and Berlin. Her artistic and academic work encompasses dra wing\, sculpture and publishing. Inherent in this are collaborative work\, narrative and critique. In summer 2020\, she founded the artists' book pu blisher Delfine. She is currently studying for a Master's degree in Critic al Studies at the Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien and was previously at the Institut für Kunst im Kontext at the Universität der Künste Berlin.\n \nMarcel Heise is an artist and publisher living in Berlin. His work deals with knowledge construction and the politics of collective and individual memory. Since 2020\, he has been co-founder and publisher of 'A-Z Magazin e' - a collaborative publishing project in the form of a subjective encycl opaedia. He is also part of the online collective 'eat-art.biz'\, which de als with the conditions of artistic existence. He is currently a Master's student at the Institut für Kunst im Kontext at the UdK Berlin.\n\nMax-Fri edemann Altenburg lives and works in Berlin. In his artistic-scientific wo rk\, he deals with the emergence of narrative stories and conspiracy theor ies in net cultures as well as the analogue world. Since 2020 he has been studying at the Institut für Kunst im Kontext at the UdK Berlin.\n\nValeri e Göhring\, born in 1992\, studied theatre studies at the University of Le ipzig. From 2014/15\, she worked as a dramaturgy assistant at Schauspiel F rankfurt. While working\, she studied »Kuratieren in den szenischen Künste n« in Munich and Salzburg. From 2018/19 until the end of Matthias Lilienth al's directorship\, Valerie Göhring was dramaturg at the Münchner Kammersp iele. Along the way\, she worked as a guest curator at Künstlerhaus Mouson turm. In 2020\, she was awarded the Marie Zimmermann Fellowship of the Aka demie Schloss Solitude. She is studying for a Master's degree in Institut für Kunst im Kontext at UdK Berlin. Since the 2020/21 season\, she has bee n working as a dramaturge at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin.
