Archiving Talk

Dialogue introduction to the virtual space of AFSAR with the artists Mooni Perry and Hanwen Zhang

The Asian Feminist Studio for Art and Research (AFSAR), engages in archiving contemporary feminist discourses in the context of artistic research. The online platform serves as a decentralised virtual space that brings together a wide range of experts from different disciplines to foster the development of collective research and promote sustainable interactions.

AFSAR has invited researchers, artists, and activists, who are interested in developing and sharing their research ideas, to propose research-orientated projects with a feminist scope. Throughout the research period, the research materials will be archived and embedded in the platform’s virtual space.

On 30th of September, AFSAR will invite viewers to their online virtual space to introduce the Equi-Vocal project, the participants and the platform at large. The public can take part in the event in person at the Brücke-Museum, and it will also be possible to participate virtually and live under this link: Gather.town. Please use the browser Chrome for this. The number of participants there is limited to 20.

AFSAR is initiated by Mooni Perry and Hanwen Zhang, funded by Stiftung Kunstfonds and Korea Arts Council.

Please note: The event takes place in English language. The evidence of a negative test, complete vaccination or recovery is necessary! The current distance and hygiene regulations apply, as well as a general mask requirement. The participation is free!
