Summer Party

We cordially invite you to celebrate the finissage of the anniversary exhibition Werner Düttmann. Building. Berlin, the inauguration of the Waldraum (forest room) by ConstructLab, and the new garden design by atelier le balto.

At 2 pm there will be an official welcome by Lisa Marei Schmidt (Director of the Brücke-Museum) and Dr. Klaus Lederer (Senator for Culture and Europe). The speeches will be simultaneously translated into German Sign Language

Solar Disk
Music and performance
with Caique Tizzi (artist, chef) & FRZNTE (DJ, pole performer)
Indulge in exciting food and inspiring drinks by Caique Tizzi while being enchanted by FRZNTE’s sunny tunes.
FRZNTE (lives and works in Berlin) is a DJ, pole dance performer and cultural producer. Her eclectic mix of hip-hop, disco, techno, booty beats and the most beautiful all-time favourites will keep you in a good mood.
Caique Tizzi (*São Paulo, lives and works in Berlin) is an artist and chef whose practice focuses on an artistic approach to food in which the kitchen becomes part studio, part laboratory. His culinary events create a theatricalisation of the ordinary and the everyday act of eating together.

Family workshop
Model-making workshop for children and families and for everyone who likes to create!Our current exhibition is about building, architecture and living. In this workshop you can create your own architecture model - a new museum, a pavilion, a villa or a building that has never existed before! There are no limits to your imagination.
Start: 12noon, 1.30pm, 3pm, 4.30pm, 6pm with Thomas & Renée Rapedius (in case of heavy rain the workshops at 12noon and 15pm are cancelled)

Forest Room
Short guided tours for the opening of the new pavilion in the Museum Garden
A room in the forest: the new open and transparent greenhouse in the garden of the Brücke-Museum allows an unobstructed view of the surrounding nature and at the same time offers a special place for conversations and artistic practice. The artists’ and architects’ collective ConstructLab will present their Waldraum (forest room) in short tours.
Start: 12noon and 3pm, with Mascha Fehse and Alex Römer / ConstructLab

Forest Garden
Short guided tours of the redesign of the Museum Garden
The transformation process of the Museum Garden through the work of the landscape architects of atelier le balto started in February 2020. The architecture and the special location of the Museum on the edge of the Grunewald were the starting point for their considerations of a sustainable and artistic redesign. Embark on a discovery tour through the greenery with atelier le balto.
Start: 1pm and 4pm with Véronique Faucheur, Marc Pouzol, Nil Lachkareff / atelier le balto

Short guided tour in German Sign Language
During the exhibition tour with art mediator Sieglinde Lemcke, you will have the opportunity to experience Werner Düttmann. Building. Berlin in German Sign Language.
Start: 3pm with Sieglinde Lemcke
Duration: 30 minutes

Admission is free! The current distance and hygiene regulations apply, as well as a general mask requirement. The testing obligation is waived. Evidence of a negative test, complete vaccination or recovery is necessary. School kids and children under the age of six are exempt from compulsory testing.
Registration for the events takes place on site at the info table. The museum is open from 11am–7pm.
